Variable Presentation of Foreign Body Aspiration in Children: Diagnostic Dilemma

Aim: To determine the frequency of common clinical presentations in children with foreign body aspiration.
 Methodology: This cross sectional study was done during period March, 2017 to Feb, 2018 A total 84 history aspiration were included. The data entered proforma which includes and presentation. approved by ethical review board PUMHSW. Written informed consent taken from parents/guardian all participants.
 Results: average age 3.2±1.69 years. There 52(61.9%) male 32(38.1%) female. Frequency presentation repeated attacks cough 64.3%, respiratory distress 64.3% followed sudden onset choking 54.8%, non-responsive treatment 34.5%, cyanosis 11.9% decrease air way breath sound right left as well bilateral lung 44%, 23.8% 16.7& respectively. 46.4% had right, 22.6% 25% hyperinflation similarly 17.95 15.5% collapse.
 Conclusion: Beetle nut inhalation is more children. Repeated cough, distress, chocking are commonest symptoms. FBA should be kept differential diagnosis persistent
